The Griot Museum

The Griot Museum of Black history is a historical picture in St. Louis and has been light for the north city neighborhood. The museum started off in 1991 as a wax museum and over time has evolved into an art gallery, community center, and gathering place. The Design for Socail Impact class at Washington university Undertook this project of completely redesigning the museum rebranding, exhibition design, and website. During this 6week project, I worked on a small team of four designers where we talked about the brand design for the Griot. We wanted to make sure that everything form the logo to our deliverables felt authentic and held reverence for the neighborhood and Black history and culture,
